Welcome to Vanguard Model Marine Ships Plans.
The Hobby Centre is the exclusive worldwide distributor of these model plans. We acquired the business over 25 years ago from the 3 gentleman who drew these plans. They were carefully researched and drawn using official naval plans and information from Public Archives. The original drawings were drawn to the scales shown, with details pertinent to the modeller shown and the myriad of technical and engineering specifications from the real ships omitted. D.B. Munro's plans typically include hull lines for a static model and hull lines with an increased draught for better performance in a working model.
All plans listed here are subject to whether we have them on hand, or need to get them printed. By default they are mailed folded, 1st class lettermail which is most economic, they can be rolled and mailed in a mailing tube, please contact us for postage quotes.

- USA: 2 sheet plan: $10.30; 3 sheet plan: $10.30
- International: 2 sheet plan $20.60; 3 sheet plan: $20.60
If you intend to pick up plans at the store, please make arrangements via e-mail before arriving as they may not be here otherwise, we typically have them printed on demand.
We are pleased to announce that we are having our plans digitally enlarged or reduced to accommodate other popular modeling scales.Don't see your scale? Please request it!
*We have been assured by the printers that the plans suffer no distortion due to the process but please check all measurements carefully before implementing into your project.
